What is the Universe of all the living? In terms of time it is the course and the event: for space is the direction and the location. It must be known that the east, the west, the south, the north, the southeast, the southwest, the northeast, the northwest and above and bellow are the limits of space. The past, the future and the present are the limits of time. ---Leng Yan Ching

To Enan, the disciple of Buddha: Observe the quality the earth; the harshness is the Earth and the particle is dust. Also observe the particle of dust, until you can analyze smallest of the particle. Therefore, observe it meticulously, then you could see the most finite of the particle; at the end you will find emptiness. Enan, if you can analyze the particle and finally find emptiness, thus will know that matter comes from emptiness. ---Leng Yan Ching

The energy of heaven and earth communicate in an invisible way and for that reason the grass and the trees grow, the sun and the moon follows one another in an alternating way and so the Four Seasons and the eight main dates of the solar calendar are shape. The water and fire support each other mutually and then they can mature the crops; man and woman are united in harmony and therefore their descendants prosper.
